The Catwalk is a custom testing element added into the standard Puzzle Creator by the Portal 2 Mod BEEmod. They are designed to help test subjects more easily maneuver through the chambers.
They are based on the catwalks found behind the scenes of Aperture Science in Portal 2.
Catwalks do not appear to connect when placed in the puzzle creator. They must be connected using the input/output connection feature of the Puzzle Creator, with the antlines signifying the path of the catwalks once the chamber is built.
Catwalks will not build correctly 100% of the time. If the Catwalk cannot figure out how to build following the Antlines, it will skip over that section of the Catwalk.
